STASHPASTE LIGHT · v1.2.0
Temporary clipboard history, local access controls and clear privacy boundaries.
Clipboard history stays in process memory while Light runs and is discarded when the process exits.
License activation and validation use licensing information, without sending clipboard contents.
StashPaste Light keeps clipboard history in process memory for the current application session. It does not intentionally save a history database to disk and discards the session when the app exits. Closing the panel, sleep and screen lock preserve the session. A crash, update or process restart ends it.
Ordinary preferences and licensing state may be saved. This describes clipboard-history persistence, not an assurance about macOS paging, temporary files or other applications. Quitting Light does not promise to clear the macOS system clipboard.
Here while you work.
Gone when you quit.
Authenticate with Touch ID or your macOS password to reveal, copy or paste Hidden records. Temporary access ends on panel close, sleep, screen lock or restart. Unhide removes the flag until you hide the record again or the session ends. Hidden protects display and access in the app; history in RAM is not encrypted.
You can require authentication to open the clipboard. This setting is off by default. Hidden records have separate access protection.
Supported password-manager source applications are excluded from capture. You can add your own application exclusions. These safeguards reduce accidental capture and are not infallible.
Accessibility permission enables pasting into other apps. It does not grant StashPaste a right to upload clipboard content. You can manage the permission in macOS System Settings.
Clipboard processing stays local. License activation, validation and software updates may use the network. Clipboard contents are not part of license activation data.
