Your clipboard. More capable.
A closer look at the existing full StashPaste development line: persistent history, rich content and advanced local controls.
IN DEVELOPMENT
Inside StashPaste Pro
These workflows are present in the existing development line. Pro is in development.
Search your clipboard history
Search text in your local clipboard history by typing a word, email address or code fragment. Use content filters to narrow the list.
- Global hotkey ⌃V opens clipboard history
- Arrow keys ↑↓ for rapid zero-mouse navigation
- Press ↩ to paste directly into your active window
Beyond plain text: images, colors, links & code
Your clipboard contains much more than raw text. Pro captures images, links, HEX colors, file references and text. Code copied from another app is captured as text.
HEX & RGB Color Swatches
Copy a supported HEX color value to see a color swatch and color-format actions.
High-Res Image Previews
Captured screenshots and copied images display with thumbnail previews, dimensions, and file size metadata.
Plain-text paste
Use Shift+Enter for plain-text paste. Rich text and source HTML are not preserved as separate capture types.
Choose what stays Hidden.
Selected clips can be protected and hidden until authentication with Touch ID or another method supported by macOS. This can help limit casual viewing, but should not replace a dedicated password manager or secure credential store.
- Authenticate with Touch ID or your macOS password
- All persisted Clipboard records are encrypted; Hidden adds an access control
- Reveal ends on panel close, sleep, screen lock or restart; Unhide remains until you choose Hide again
Password Manager Exclusions
StashPaste can exclude clipboard content from supported password managers using macOS bundle identifiers. The examples below include four app identifiers for 1Password, Bitwarden, and Apple Keychain. Exclusions may be affected by app or system changes, so check your settings before copying sensitive data.
Copy. Find. Paste.
The existing Pro development workflow. Direct paste into other apps requires macOS Accessibility permission.
