Your clipboard history stays on your Mac and is not synced to StashPaste cloud storage. License activation and software updates may contact external services. There is no clipboard telemetry.

No. StashPaste v1 is free forever. The 7-day registration grace period lets you use a new installation before activating the free Version 1 license. It does not convert into a paid product or subscription.

New installations let you begin using StashPaste immediately. You have 7 days to claim and activate your free Version 1 license. After that, use requires activation of a valid free license. No payment method is required, no fee is charged and no subscription starts.

The free license registers your copy of StashPaste Version 1. No payment or subscription is required. Free-license registration through Lemon Squeezy will be available when the app is publicly released.

No. A valid StashPaste Version 1 (1.x.x) license does not require a license fee now or later and does not expire merely because time passes, subject to the Terms.

Version 1 means releases whose major version number is 1, such as 1.0.0, 1.6.3, 1.20.4 or another 1.x.x release.

Any StashPaste 1.x.x update that we choose to make generally available remains part of Version 1 and requires no additional license fee. This does not promise future releases, bug fixes, security updates, maintenance or compatibility updates, subject to mandatory applicable law.

No. Free forever refers to the Version 1 license fee. It does not include a technical-support contract, personal troubleshooting or guaranteed assistance, and does not guarantee future development, maintenance, updates, operating-system compatibility or permanent download and licensing infrastructure. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.

A future Version 2 or other major release may be offered separately on different terms. You do not have to upgrade to keep using a valid Version 1 license on compatible systems.

No. Tips are completely optional. One-time, repeated and recurring monthly tips provide exactly the same StashPaste Version 1 entitlement as giving nothing. They do not unlock features, licenses, activation, updates, higher device limits, services or technical assistance.

StashPaste requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later and runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

One individual user can activate a personal Version 1 license on up to three Macs at the same time, including work devices.
